Structure

     Hustai National Park Trust (HNPT) manages the administration of the Hustai National Park (HNP) protected area. The governing institutions of Hustai Trust are Mongolian Assocation for Conservation Nature and Environment (MACNE), Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism (MNET), The Foundation for the Preservation and Protection of the Przewalski Horse (FRPH) and the Hustai Buffer Zone Council, as well as a Board with an independent chairman.

     The “Hustai” Trust units are:

  1. Finance
  2. Protection
  3. Research and Training
  4. Eco-Tourism
  5. Buffer Zone

Each unit has its own manager. The board of managers and its director meets once a month. The Trust has its own Academic council, composed of 12 members: experts, researchers, and lecturers, all renowned in Mongolia. This council meets once a year and discusses and assesses research reports established by the park biologists. The outcome includes providing directions for further study areas paired with an appropriate methodology.
